Interesting share by my friend on LI about global population projections.

The demographic changes of the world are extremely dynamic. Today, Croatia is one of the oldest countries in the world with the most disadvantaged population structure. By share of the population under the age of 15 (14.6%), Croatia is 178th in the world, and there are 20.8% of people over 65.

By 2100, the change in age structure (globally) will be dramatic, with more than 25% of people aged over 65, while today this figure ranges well below 10%.

The population of India and China will begin to decline in the second half of the century. China's overall population is projected to halve to 732 million by 2100. India will be the only country with a billion inhabitants at the end of the century.

Yes, many factors could affect population projections accuracy, especially in the long run. These estimations are based on research data gathered between 1950 to 2017. Forecasting is one of the core tools in project management, so I understand how it is hard, even in the short term. :)

I’m with @Zacharias 🐝 Voulgaris on this one, Lada. Too far ahead for credibility, but the chart is a masterpiece of colour.

Intriguing. One of the great lessons I've learned over the past year or so is to never ever trust projections of experts, especially long term ones. So, I'm going to just enjoy the nice bright colors of this graphic and treat it as a piece of modern art. Cheers

The problem with search visibility on Google?

Lada 🏡 Prkic · My latest post on beBee, Exclusivity of Truth, doesn't show up on Google at all despite having typed all the keywords. · On Microsoft Bing, it appears at the top of the page. · @Javier 🐝 CR, what are the reasons for that. · Perhaps only Google knows. :)
