A Food and Drinks Supervisor is responsible for supervising operations of Food and Drinks outlets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while working with the team to ensure departmental targets are met.

What will I be doing?

As a Food and Drinks Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising operations of Food and Drinks outlets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Food and Drinks Supervisor will also be required to communicate and delegate tasks to the team to ensure departmental targets are achieved. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise Food and Drinks Outlet operations
• Provide clear and concise instructions, support and supervise staff and bar to ensure that instructions are properly implemented
• Conduct training in accordance with the training plan and operating manuals
• Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
• Ensure compliance of brand standards
• Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Upsell menu items, and specials to maximize revenue while providing valuable recommendations to guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery
• Strive to have active contact with guests and ensure their satisfaction
• Implements and conducts training sessions whenever needed
• Organize the team to provide a standard service according to food and beverage service standards
• Find new systems to increase performance and motivation in the sector and their implementation
• Inform about new and current professional trends and technologies
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
• Be environmentally aware
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
